Logo Design for Hometown Barbershop
Hometown Barbershop was founded in 2019, just outside of Binghamton, New York. Since they are a small, upstart business, working with us on a logo design would be a natural fit. Consequently, our initial consultation focused on establishing their brand image and values.
Firstly, this small business logo design needed to reinforce the community aspect of their values. We illustrated the skyline of Binghamton to use as a core element of their design.
Secondly, the symbol of the barber pole was also chosen as a key element for their brand mark. We then worked to tie in the brand elements of the city skyline and the barber pole together. Then, we combined these elements with their logotype, to create a final logo. At this point, we have our ideal logo for signs, business cards and much more.
Our second logo solution was a badge logo, used on merchandise such as hats, t-shirts and sweatshirts, and on their website and social media platforms. This logo design dropped the barber poles, but mimicked the look of them by bringing the striped elements into the bottom portion of the design. The two different graphic design solutions allows Hometown Barbershop to have a design element for any possible need they have, as they continue to grow.
