Luminas Services, based in Raleigh, North Carolina, provides counseling services for adults, teens and adolescents. Our relationship with Luminas Services began after they reached out to us looking for a website that looks more professional and also better explains their services.
Our consultation helped us better understand what Luminas Services is all about, who they need to reach and what information is most important to present.
Our initial consultation with Kristin, owner of Luminas Services, provided us with tremendous insight into the struggles she was facing. The prior agency she worked with did not understand the brand imagery that she wanted. This disconnect left Luminas Services that did not speak to her clientele.
Our strategy began with redesigning her logo, to present Luminas Services as a modern service provider. The original logo for featured a tree, as Kristin wanted a serene feel to her brand and service. Our updated logo took this tree and enclosed it in a circle, giving the feeling of all-encompassing care.
In our consultation, Kristin emphasized that she wanted calming, nature imagery to give her website a cohesive feel. We developed a color palette that played in to this nature imagery. Working with greens and a light tan, our color choices helped deliver the brand image Luminas Services was searching for.
Luminas Services’ website was not properly constructed with on-page SEO. This prevented them from showing up in search in any meaningful way. Our plan involved proper on-page SEO work, structuring headings to emphasize important keywords for their services.
Each service was built out onto their own dedicated page, allowing each service room to speak for itself without confusing messages.
Call-to-action buttons were included to drive exploration throughout the website and to contact Kristin for more information.
